EARL BOYKINS and DIET CIG are a couple of bands out of New York who are taking their live rock shows on tour through the eastern US. DIET CIG is made up of Alex Luciano and Noah Bowman, a duo that play uplifting punk numbers that walk a perfect line between energetic and melodic. Alex’s silky vocals soar delicately over the more gritty, rough and rowdy instrumentals. Her lyrics bring you inside the relatable happenings in dealing with adult adolescence and it’s all soo damn delightful we can't help but smile our stupid faces off whenever we hear em. Noah met Alex at a house show for his other band EARL BOYKINS and now the two bands are tour buddies. Noah and Other Alex, Alex Antiuk, are the two that make up EARL BOYKINS, a nearly-twee, punk-ish duo who has recently cleaned up their thrashy hardcore for a more melodic and poppy approach. Their newest album, Everybody Likes Dogs, is representative of their transition from hardcore to a sound more focused on infectious melodies and pop songwriting. TREASURER are a local three piece group who come to open tonight's show, returning to our stage for the first time since last September. Their sound is built up on Moog, Bass, Drum and Vox that they describe as “delicious jangle-basement music.” All three of these acts are sure to provide some delicious tunes, so make sure to get yourself out to the Bottle for a taste of the good stuff.$5.00

On the cusp of celebrating 10 years as a band, SCREAMING FEMALES celebrate the release of their sixth album, Rose Mountain, out February 24 on Don Giovanni Records. The band self-produced their previous releases (with STEVE ALBINI engineering their 2012 LP Ugly and the 2014 concert album Live at the Hideout) but overturned the long-standing, self-imposed rule this time by bringing in MATT BAYLES (MASTADON, THE SWORD) as a producer. Setting out with a vision so clear that it almost became a studio mantra, the resulting songs are concise, crisp and melodic, in essence creating at once their most complex and accessible record to date. Brooklyn-based duo SHELLSHAG is comprised of two people, SHELL, who plays guitar and sings, and SHAG, who plays drums standing up and also sings. SHAG has bells sewn on her belt and ankles, so there's lots of frantic wiggling to coax the noise out of them. They're known for putting on shows that bring the house down, sometimes literally (though hopefully not tonight). Expect some crowd surfing, things being thrown across the room and an air of revelry as they perform their ramshackle, jangly good times rock & roll. Chicago-based four-piece SPLIT FEET open tonight's show with their weird and uncomfortable - not to mention noisy and dark - take on riotous punk-rawk. These witches mean serious business, so show up early and get your head knocked in.$12.00 *SOLD OUT*

Give thanks to the metal gods, for Chicago death metal legends CIANIDE return for tonight's deathly Saturday blowout! CIANIDE issued their stunning debut, The Dying Truth, in 1992, a punishing offering that was widely, widely acclaimed. The group's most recent effort, God's of Death, was issued by Hell's Headbangers Records and shows the outfit in fighting form, continuing to deliver straight-forward, no holds barred death metal. Bassist/vocalist MIKE PERUN angrily growls through each song like his life depends on it and appears ready to stomp on your head while he finishes his beer and in the words of Teufels Tomb when the LP is done, "you'll hit the replay button simply because this shit is so fucking cool you'll want to hear it again." BONES members JOE WARLORD, CARCASS CHRIS and JON NECROMANCER first started playing together back in the 90s when they were all in the Chicago thrash outfit USURPER. After the band's implosion in 2007, the boys went their separate ways for two short years before getting back together and giving birth to the demon child known as BONES. Forever a 3 piece of rock and punk styled metal, BONES plays simple, heavy, dirty and sleazy. No overproduction, none of that multi-layered "studio" mumbo-jumbo and, most importantly, no attitudes -- these fellas keep it crusty and real as hell. Bruising bashers WRETCH are the bastard spawn of THE GATES OF SLUMBER and they deftly defy death on each doomy, volcanic eruption they produce. Remember that time when Conan strapped your head to the Anvil of Crom, and then those three bearded, burly bastards bludgeoned it to a bloody pulp using a giant hammer forged of Wrought-Iommi? Well, it’s that time again WRETCH comes to the Bottle to crush your skulls. DEATHCULT comes from the sewers of the Chicago underground and will make you bang your head until you're dead. The band released their debut album, The Test of Time, in early 2013 and these mutants of madness are making their Bottle debut opening here tonight.$12 (advance), $15

Lo-fi rockers FAMOUS LAUGHS return to for one last show, as they bid farewell to Chicago at tonight's Free Monday. We've had some good times with these fellas - some good laughs, if you will - and we'll be sad to see their damaged but friendly tunes drift off into oblivion. We can assure you that their dreamy, well-placed melodies will grip your ears and take you on a breezy trip through the outer reaches of the sonic galaxy. Sleep well, sweet prince. Chicago natives THE FATHER COSTUMES strapped an acoustic guitar to a time bomb and they'll be waiting to explode as you slam $2 PBRs into your face-hole. These chill wavers have been boppin around the city for some time now, playing all the usual haunts on their way to our stage for a headlining set. The band's EP, The Mismade Girl - featured on their bandcamp - is your perfect Sunday afternoon coffee sippin, memory trippin, laidback, 5 track jam. We are ready for a beautiful close to our evening with THE FATHER COSTUMES as they send us off into the starry cosmic wonderland. The ornithology/dairy named BABY BIRDS DON'T DRINK MILK join us from NYC with choral, formative longtones reminiscent of DEERHUNTER's early-mid output. Their 2013 released album, Think Tone, is the collection of a year's worth of recording from Chicago to Ohio to Brooklyn oh my! Returning to our stage - and the city - tonight and playing second is Chicago three-piece LALA LALA, a grungey, lo-fi trio who's catchy pop and rock songwriting swims in a river of reverb. These ladies are using the show as a sort of Welcome Back From Tour show as they spent the last month touring around the U.S. on their way to Austin for SXSW. We strongly recommend you treat your ears to their debut tape (courtesy of Manic Static) before you catch em live.Free Monday

Tonight we're honored to help celebrate the release of Chicago folk-monster RYLEY WALKER's new LP, Primrose Green, his first for the acclaimed Dead Oceans. Last winter, Tompkins Square released All Kinds of You, an impressive album of acoustic finger style guitar tracks that saw RYLEY stretching his legs with a band in the studio. The new album, out tomorrow (3.31.15), continues the evolution of this "true American guitar player" with graceful flow and circular shimmers, not to mention a mixture of new and old Chicago players from the post-rock and jazz communities that add a visceral edge to the songs and give them a life of their own in a live setting. Flowing, earthy acoustic work cascades from WALKER's hands and he's been reborn as a troubadour, which he carries on exploring to this day.$10.00

CHRIS FORSYTH's hypnotic compositions assimilate art-rock textures with vernacular American influences. Long active in the international underground, he’s released a series of acclaimed records as a solo artist that demonstrate a resolute engagement in making corporeal/cerebral music that transcends such subterranean realms, reaching instead for a bleeding-edge physicality and lyricism heavily influenced by his private studies with TELEVISION guitarist RICHARD LLOYD. This year's No Quarter-released album, Intensity Ghost, sees FORSYTH adding a full band to the recording process rather than recording it almost entirely himself. It's a change the Chicago Reader praises: "The dynamic provided by a real working band pays serious dividends, with an interactive spark generated by Forsyth and fellow guitarist Paul Sukeena that reaches toward the heights achieved by those aforementioned influences."$8 (advance), $10
