Glitter Creeps has been a staple at the Empty Bottle for years now. Three years to be exact. Within those years, this Rock/Punk/New Wave queer night has been throwing some of the best damn parties around since joining the Bottle. Hosted and co-curated by siblings Donnie & Madison Moore of ABSOLUTELY NOT, the monthly showcase was declared Best punk-rock LGBTQ night in Chicago Reader's 2015 Best Of issue and was included in Chicagoist's Best Queer Nightlife In Chicago. Each month brings new and exciting bands from Chicago and beyond to perform on our stage.

Donnie & Madison are also changing up the program a bit, and will be entering a new phase of GC after tonight's show. Here's what they have to say:

"As we celebrate three years of Glitter Creeps, we are also excited to announce that the event will be entering a new chapter! Instead of every third Wednesday, Glitter Creeps events will now be held WHENEVER THE #$%! WE FEEL LIKE IT! So get pumped for STACKED bills, SIQQ hosts, and of course MORE GLITTER! Keep your eyes peeled and brows on fleek! See you next time, creepers! <3"

Helping to bring it all together, Chicago band THE CELL PHONES are returning for the first time since June. Some time ago, Loud Loop Press called them "a band to watch" and praised that “some bands just plant a smile on your face so big, it needs to be slapped off. THE CELL PHONES are that band.” Indeed, they are! Brimming with abrasive, bass-heavy punk and bitch’ll cut you attitude, we’re excited to have them return to the Bottle stage and be a part of this wonderful anniversary celebration.

Sludge, noise and metal. NO MEN does not play around when it comes to re-adjusting your hearing loss. This doom power trio from Austin, TX has burrowed into the cold depths of Chicago’s rock scene to help stir up the pot. With one guitar, two drums and the most commanding force of dark vocals this side of the river, NO MEN will surely get you riled up for this gloom packed night of rockdom.

New-ish local band MONTROSE MAN (Meg of BLEACH PARTY) are a trio of hard-as-hell, post-everything punk rockers that celebrated the release of their debut LP, Lazy Looker, back in July with Glitter Creeps organizers, ABSOLUTELY NOT. We can’t wait to have them back so we can party all night long with this noisy and colorful crew.
