Presented by WLUW’s The Minimal Beat and The Empty Bottle.

Synth-groove gladiators SUNJACKET take over the Bottle with their blend of thick and lush dream-like indie rock. This tech-forward four-piece hails from Chicago with members BRIAN KVETON (vocals, guitar, synth), CARL HAUCK (vocals, guitar, synth), GARRET BODETTE (drums, percussion) and JEFF RUKES (bass, synth). They took a year off from playing shows to finish writing and recording songs for their debut LP, Mantra, and damn are we glad they did. Their final product comes out to 10 beautiful and elaborate tracks ranging from dark, synth-driven pop to layered, syncopated rock, with moments of ambient sparseness in between. The album was produced in collaboration with FRASER McCULLOCH (MILAGRES) and mastered by JOE LAMBERT (ANIMAL COLLECTIVE, DEERHUNTER, DIRTY PROJECTORS, LOCAL NATIVES). Come bear witness to the heavy shimmering dream rock spectacle that is SUNJACKET.

WWOMAN is psych-steeped, patterned astral pop. Making use of everything analog to electronic. Hailing from Pittsburgh, this is WWOMAN’s Bottle debut and we aim to make it one for the books. For fans of CARIBOU and TAME IMPALA this mix of adventure rock and psychedelic pop makes for the perfect late night groove concoction.

"FALL CLASSIC is one of the best unheralded bands in Chicago's rock scene, though the group's latest album, "Gospel," certainly has the power to change that status." -Jessica Hopper, Chicago Tribune. Now with the release of their latest 5-song conceptual EP, “Both Ends of the Rope” that includes 5 short indie films which each track, they are full steam ahead positioned to reach the masses. An indie rock trio with combined shimmering guitars, thumping rhythms, soaring vocals (with some pretty gorgeous harmonizing) and jagged arrangements.
